First and foremost I’d like to suggest that the best “gift” anyone could give me would be to donate your money to a charity rather than buying something for me.  I like to support MSF, WWF, or local homeless shelters.  If you’re stumped for gift ideas or want to get me something you know I’ll love, this is the way to go.  My life is already so full of riches that I love the idea of sharing my happiness and your generosity with the less fortunate.

If you’re still not convinced, and want to get me something tangible, here’s a few ideas.

1. You can always look to my Music To Buy page, for ideas
2. If you’d rather go a Music Gift Certificate way, I buy my music online from Zunior.com.  I don’t have access to the iTunes store so I can’t use any of those certificates – please avoid.
3. I’d actually like to learn how to play a guitar – so guitar lessons would be nice.  I have a guitar I’ve borrowed from Alisa’s kind brother already.  Just to be clear, that’s acoustic guitar.
4. Books that look interesting
   • Dancing In The Streets – A History of Collective Joy
   • World as Lover, World as Self: Courage for Global Justice and Ecological Renewal
   • Dharma Rain
   • What’s the Worst That Could Happen?
5. ThinkGeek has some really cool stuff
   • Giant Plush Microbes (I already have the bookworm, kissing disease (mono), bad breath, the common cold, and a white blood cell)
   • Sun and Moon Jars (not sure how many – they’d have to be for outside though I think they’d make a great night light)
   • Solar Address Numbers (I’d need a 1, 5, 8, a 2, and a 7 – which in total would be quite expensive)
6. Lee Valley Tools has some really cool stuff:
   • Landscaper bag
   • Their Super Fridge Magnets are fabulous – I use them to hang things on my magnetic wall so the more the merrier.
   • Thread I.D. – to help identify what size those bolts and nuts are.
